We have designed our facilities and trained our pet care staff in order to provide the quality of care that they deserve and you expect. To facilitate these efforts we have adopted the following procedures and policies. By signing our Canine Check-In Form, you are acknowledging that you have read and understand our procedures and policies. PERSONAL ITEMS Blankets, toys, etc. will be used as you request, but please understand that these items may become soiled or damaged during your pet’s stay with us. Although we make every effort to care for these items we cannot be responsible for any loss or damage. Any large items that may become wet or soiled during your pet’s stay may be unable to fit into our washing machine. These items will be bagged and returned to you unwashed. Your pet’s toys will not be allowed out in the daycamp area. FOOD We provide Premium Brand Intestinal Formula to your pet at no additional charge. If your pet has any history of an upset stomach from diet change, we strongly recommend you bring your pet’s food. We ask that the food be brought in a sealed container. We ask that no food bags larger than 10lbs. are brought, due to limited cubby space. PET VACCINATION POLICY We at CCVRS, Inc. are committed to ensuring the health and safety of pets in our care. For that reason, all pets entering the clinic and resort must be current on select preventive health care. As well, pets must be free of intestinal and external parasites and must have received a physical exam by a licensed veterinarian within the last year. Dogs must be a minimum of seven days current on their annual Rabies and DHPP, a negative intestinal parasite exam (every 6 months) and booster for Bordetella must be current within the last 6 months. Cats must be a minimum of seven days current on their yearly Rabies and FVRCP, and a negative fecal within the last 6 months. Cats must also have negative FIV and Feline Leukemia test results on file. Pets not current on any of the above will be treated at the owner’s expense. Dogs who are not current on the above vaccines will not be allowed into daycamp, and will be leash walked only for that stay. Dogs and cats with fleas or ticks will be given appropriate treatment at the owner’s expense. IF YOU OBTAIN YOUR VACCINES AT ANOTHER VETERINARY HOSPITAL, AND WE ARE UNABLE TO OBTAIN VERIFICATION OF THESE VACCINES BY 5:00PM (12:00PM ON SATURDAY) ON THE DAY THAT YOU DROP OFF YOUR PET, WE WILL VACCINATE YOUR PET PER OUR HOSPITAL POLICY AT THE OWNER’S EXPENSE. If the preceding is true for a canine, for every “suitees” safety, he/she cannot be a part of daycamp during this initial stay or may not be able to stay this visit. If your pet was vaccinated at a mobile clinic, we are unable to call and get the records, therefore; the records must be forwarded to us by fax, email, or mail prior to your pet arriving. Failure to do this may result in your reservation being cancelled. MEDICAL CONDITIONS We must be informed of any medical conditions/surgical history your pet may have. We will administer medications to your pet at your request for no additional fee. All Prescription medications MUST be in their original containers with printed instructions. We will not accept medications that are not in original containers and will not give the medication at a different dose than what is prescribed by your Veterinarian. PROLONGED BOARDING If a client wishes to extend a reservation once a pet is here, the regular charge for the unit will be applied, if we have a suite available. If that suite is unavailable, and no other suites are available, the pet must board in the clinic/grooming area at clinic rates. AFTER HOURS PICK-UP We know the last thing you want to do over a long weekend is wait another night to see your fur family; therefore, as a convenience to you, we have “after hours” pick-up available on Sunday from 3-6PM ONLY. You will also incur an after hours pickup fee for Sunday afternoon pick-up. We will take a payment on Sunday, which will be posted the following business day. CANCELLATION POLICY Our suites are in high demand with many clients booking weeks in advance. We know things happen, so If you need to cancel your reservation for boarding, you must contact us within 48 hours of your reservation. We will provide a cancellation email at your request when you call and cancel. If you do not cancel the Reservation within 48 hours, we re-serve the right to charge you up to three nights of your scheduled stay. If client/pet fails to cancel or not show for a reservation, a charge will be applied for the length of the reservation or three days (maximum charge) at the rate of the unit reserved, whichever is the least. NO SHOW POLICY If client/pet does not cancel or show for a reservation, a charge will be applied for the length of the reservation or three days (maximum charge) at the rate of the unit reserved, whichever is the least. EARLY PICK UP If you wish to pick your pet up prior to the scheduled pick up date, you must call the resort to inform us of this change. This is especially important if your pet has a complimentary bath, standard or deluxe bath, or grooming scheduled at our spa. We require 24 hours notice of an early pick up. Failure to give a 24 hour notice, may result in your pet not receiving their scheduled bath or grooming. EXTENSION If a client wishes to extend a reservation once a pet is here, the regular charge for the unit will be applied, if we have a suite available. If that suite is unavailable, and no other suites are available, the pet must board in the clinic/grooming area at clinic rates. LEASH/CARRIERS All animals must be brought to the resort on a leash or in a carrier. This is for the safety of your pet and others as well as our staff members. COMPLIMENTARY BATH/PAID BATH If your pet stays with us for 5 nights or more, he/she is entitled to a complimentary bath at the end of their stay. If your pet’s stay is less than 5 nights, a standard or deluxe bath may be scheduled for an additional fee. The cost of the bath will be listed on your estimate at check-in. Once your pet is bathed, he/she will not go out to “camp,” unless otherwise requested, for the remainder of the stay. Most baths are performed in the late afternoon the day before check-out. If your pet’s coat is thick or matted, or if your pet is uncooperative, a complimentary bath will not be done. AGGRESSIVE ANIMALS If a dog is too aggressive towards our staff while at the resort they may not be permitted to stay. We will need an emer-gency contact on file. An extra charge may be incurred if special handling is required when your pet stays with us. Most problems should be addressed in the interview/temperament evaluation. We have the right to call the emergency con-tact and have the dog/cat go home with them in the event of aggression or extreme stress situations as determined by CCVRS, Inc. SPAY/NEUTER POLICY All intact male and female dogs older than 7 months will not be allowed to be a part of the daycamp program. CCVRS will not board intact male cats. SICK ANIMALS All animals that are sick or become sick or injured while boarding with us (including stress related illnesses such as cough and diarrhea) will be treated at the owner’s expense and may be required to stay in our clinic for normal clinical fees. You will be contacted by a staff manager or Veterinarian prior to any treatment being performed, except in an emergency situation. If you are not able to be reached at the emergency contact left at check-in, we will treat your pet if medically necessary at your expense. Anxious/Destructive Animals Sometimes in stressful or unfamiliar situations, pets may become destructive or anxious. If your pet is destructive while staying in a suite and harms itself it any way, or ingests any material from the suites, Creature Comforts is not liable for any medical services that may result. If your pet has a history of being destructive or ingesting foreign materials, it is very important that we are aware of this, in order to take additional precautions. Please let us know at the time of your pet’s behavioral evaluation, if they should not have access to blankets, beds, or stainless steel food/water bowls during their stay. Multi –Occupant Suites If you request that more than one pet occupy a suite, Creature Comforts is not responsible for any medical conditions resulting from altercations that may occur between those pets during their stay. Everyone is monitored regularly, but there are times after hours, when there is not a resort member in the building. If your pets get possessive over toys or food, it is vital that our resort staff members are made aware at the time of the behavioral evaluation. DAYCAMP PROGRAM Not every dog is a good candidate...Your dog must have suitable social skills with people and other dogs, etc. Dogs must also be at least 4 months old to participate in camp safely. Those that electively choose to be a part of the daycamp program understand that dogs will play with each other a lot and, at times, play is rough. CCVRS, Inc. makes every effort to offer proper supervision and properly screen dogs and ask owners important behavior questions, prior to allowing a dog to be part of the daycamp program. Dogs not on a regular exercise regimen will have a lot of fun but will get tired! Blisters can occur on dog’s feet just like humans who do not exercise regularly. By signing this form you acknowledge you want your dog in daycamp and understand the preceding information, and that your dog may experi-ence rough play resulting in possible injury, including, but not limited to: minor cuts and scratches. CCVRS, Inc is not held liable in such an event but is authorized to treat, care for, and will disclose to you if any situation occurs. CCVRS, Inc. also reserves the right to declare your pet not suitable for daycamp. When dogs play hard, they may roll in the grass and dirt. We also have water features in the summer in our artificial- turf yards, so please understand that there may be days where your dog may go home dusty or wet.Acceptance* I have read and accepted policies and procedures
